As a member of S.A.F.E. Housing Inc. we help each member in the following area's:

Educate, Inspire, and Empower Members:
We help our members know and understand their rights, and stand with them as they exercise them.
We inspire them to reach and achieve their goals, and we empower them to take control of their lives, and take back the control of the banks, lenders, and landlords, we show our members they don't need a landlord, or a lender to get a home of their own.

Improve Living Conditions:
When tenants first become our members, we require them to document their entire living area, and common areas, so we know if they are within legal working standards. If they are not, or if they fall into disrepair, we apply pressure to landlords and property managers to get them repaired. When and where available we work to get the repairs done even if we have to provide the repairs.
Mediate for our Members with their Landlord /Property Manger/Lender:
When there is a dispute between one of our members and their landlord/property manager or lender, if asked we can step in one on one and be a mediator between them, with our focus being on getting our member the best overall outcome.

Eviction:
If one of our members is being evicted, we determine if it’s a legal eviction or not. We also do everything in our power to keep our member from being evicted, including when and where available opening and providing legal litigation for our members. Either providing legal counsel or helping get our member legal counsel when and where available as funds allow and where (legal).

Moving:
If you are required or forced to move for any reason your Authorized Personal Representative will work to try and help you find a place to move to.

Homeowners:
We will do everything in our power to help if you have a predatory lender, or if your lender attempts to do anything that's illicit; all while standing with you like family. Even if you just have high interest rates, a balloon payment, etc. We will try to help!

Affordable Homeownership:
All our members get placed as quickly as possible into an affordable homeownership program. The affordable homeownership program will get each of our members into a truly affordable home, with no mortgage, and no loan and additionally debt free through S.H.I.E.L.D. The more you volunteer the quicker you get your home!

Foreclosure:
If you’re a homeowner we do our best to help you if you find yourself dealing with foreclosure.
We will do everything in our power to help if you find yourself in the situation of foreclosure, whether do to predatory lending, illicit behavior by your lender etc. We stand with you like family.

Besides all of the above, S.A.F.E. Housing Inc. is always looking to improve and expand to provide its members with the best protection, safety, security, and assistance programs available. We strive to keep our family safe and protected while taking care of them through our outreach programs. Become a member today and become part of an ever growing family.
