Have you ever wanted to truly make a difference?

Would you like to be a blessing, save someone's life or make a huge difference in their life when they truly need it?

Do you have ideas that you believe might help someone in need or be a blessing to someone, and don’t know how to go about getting your ideas off the ground?

Introducing S.A.F.E. Housing Inc. Volunteer Resource Network (V.R.N.), a collective group of diverse people from all walks of life, and all backgrounds. The V.R.N. is made up of people from all around the United States, from every state, every ethnicity, race and creed. All that is required is a similar belief, a passion to help others, and a burning desire to accomplish and make reality what people say can’t be done. Do you have the drive it takes, to prove what can be done, to show the love of Christ through your works?

Volunteer Resource Network (V.R.N.)

The V.R.N. is a threefold Volunteer Ministry:

Part 1:

The Volunteer Resource Network, is an ever growing network of diverse people, who work in collaboration with other volunteers to support the mission of S.A.F.E. Housing Inc. This means that as a member you will be using your creativity to come up with fun, unique and innovative fundraiser ideas to help raise money for those in need. You will also share your thoughts on how the Ministry can improve its services, making them better for everyone involved. It's important to think about ways we can assist people in our communities who are struggling.

Part 2:

As a member of the V.R.N., every member also joins together to help provide support and resources to those in our community who face emergencies by networking. When someone needs help, whether it’s raising money, collecting food and clothing, or fundraising, our volunteers spring into action. We work hard to help prevent evictions and foreclosures or stop utilities from being turned off. No matter the need, we come together to find solutions. For example, if a family is struggling to pay their bills, our network finds ways to raise money or gather donations. We also spread the word about our efforts to get more people involved. It’s all about helping each other and being there in tough times.

We also network to provide resources to those who need them, no matter what the need our volunteers use networking, word of mouth, social media, and any other platform to accomplish and achieve resources for our members and our communities.

By working as a team, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most, showing that together, we can overcome any challenge.

Part 3:

Although V.R.N. is a volunteer position, joining our V.R.N. may lead to a paid position with S.A.F.E. Housing Inc., and is also the ONLY way to become a paid member of S.A.F.E. Housing Inc. as we hire exclusively through our V.R.N. How you perform as a volunteer will have a direct impact on applying for any current open positions.
